The Parish Council takes a keen and active interest in all local planning issues and is regularly consulted by the Local Planning Authority, Maidstone Borough Council (MBC), over applications received from within the Parish and, occasionally, received from outside the Parish when it has been deemed to be of potential interest to our residents.
Hunton Parish Council responds to all consultations from MBC on behalf of the Parish. Maidstone Borough Council will take account, as they deem appropriate, of any and all comments which are communicated to them within the specified time limits by individuals and/or organisations.
