About Hunton

Hunton is a village of around 250 households, sitting in a rural landscape six miles south of Maidstone in Kent. The village is located in beautiful countryside, with The Greensand Way at the northern boundary of the parish and the River Beult marking the border with Chainhurst and Yalding.

East Street and West Street are the main thoroughfares in Hunton, with small roads and lanes branching off, and houses scattered throughout. There are several public buildings: the Village Hall, St Mary’s Church, Hunton CEP School, the Village Club and the Cricket Pavilion. Located next to the Village Hall is the King George V Playing Field, a scenic amenity containing a children’s play area, cricket pitch and football pitch.
